During this discussion-based session, we will leverage research and conclusions from these authors among others, as well as Leslie Andrus’ own observations and discoveries through her over 20 years supporting and leading leadership development and team building within area organizations.

Presenter: Leslie Andrus, SHRM-SCP, SWP, Director of Learning and Development at Seraphic Group, Inc

Leslie has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) and Talent Development, helping to support and/or lead the HR or learning function at LexisNexis, WorldStrides, UVA, and now the Seraphic Group. She was hired by Seraphic Group in 2018 as Director of Human Resources with the goal of building the HR function at the growing company. She is now the Director of Learning and Development at Seraphic, building out that function as a next step in the evolution of the company.  She has a master’s degree from the University of Virginia and is certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, and a HCI certified Strategic Workforce Planning professional. Leslie is also a member of the local Charlottesville SHRM.

In partnership with the Chamber, Cville SHRM (Charlottesville Society of Human Resource Management) presents a series of Human Resources workshops by SHRM certified presenters. These free workshops aim to educate small businesses about best practices in HR management.
