Call out for Projects! Let’s Volunteer MONTH 2023

It’s the time of year where we all “join hands”, rally our community of volunteers, and get some work done!!  If there is one thing we have learned over the years is that flexibility is key and many of you enjoy having plenty of options in terms of what day you can hold your volunteer project event.  We’ve decided to deliver just that, by giving you an entire month!  April is Global Volunteer Month and you can submit a project anytime during the month of April!  Submit your projects on the letsvolunteer.org platform by completing an “opportunity”.  Be sure to select the “Let’s Volunteer Day All Month Long in April!”  initiative in the drop down initiative menu. Your projects will be reviewed by our committee upon submission, followed by notification.  Funding can be used for supplies, food or even professional leadership and guidance if you are tackling a really epic project!!  All projects welcome, though, we do ask that participating organizations either serve or operate within, Fauquier, Rappahannock and Culpeper County.

THIS YEAR WE ARE FUNDING a flat rate of $1000 FOR EACH PROJECT SUBMITTED PER AGENCY. Though you may submit more than one project, maximum funding remains at $1000.Project Submission Deadlines-First deadline is March 10 for payout on March 24Second deadline is March 24, for payout on April 7Third and LAST opportunity to submit a project is, for payout on April 21

If you have any questions, please e-mail or call.  Looking forward to a spring with projects popping up everywhere!!!!
