Nelson County issued the following announcement on Jan. 13

Nelson County courts, departments and offices, including the County’s Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed on the following days in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday:

Nelson County offices will observe the following holiday schedule:

January 17, 2022 Closed

Nelson County Transfer Station will observe the following holiday schedule:

January 15, 2022 Closed

January 17, 2022 Closed

The County Convenience Centers and all public safety operations will continue to maintain regular hours of operation.
