PVCC to Hold 49TH Commencement Ceremony at John Paul Jones Arena– May 13, 2022

 Piedmont Virginia Community College will hold its 49TH commencement ceremony Friday, May 13, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., at the John Paul Jones Arena. The keynote speaker for the ceremony honoring the spring graduation Class of 2022 is PVCC President Frank Friedman.

Dr. Friedman shared, “We are so pleased that after a two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic, PVCC will once again be able to celebrate our graduates in person.”

PVCC will also celebrate graduates in the following special ceremonies:

  • Early College Scholars Ceremony: Wednesday May 4, at 6:30 p.m. – William Monroe High School in Greene County
  • Radiography Pinning Ceremony: Tuesday, May 10, at 6 p.m. – PVCC Dickinson Building, Main Stage Theatre
  • Sonography Pinning Ceremony: Wednesday, May 11, at 6 p.m. – PVCC Dickinson Building, Main Stage Theatre
  • Nursing Pinning Ceremony: Friday, May 13, at 1 p.m. – John Paul Jones Arena
