Road Work on Route 723 for Culvert Replacement

LYNCHBURG – Motorists should expect delays due to a culvert replacement on Route 723 in Nelson County. Route 723 (Old Roseland Road) will be temporarily closed to thru traffic from Route 151 ( Patrick Henry Hwy ), to the intersection of Route 655 (Roseland Road). This section of Route 723 will be closed from 02/13/2023 – 04/07/2023.

The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour of this portion of Route 723 (Old Roseland Rd) and will use Route 151 (Patrick Henry Hwy) to Route 655 (Roseland Rd) back to Route 723 (Old Roseland Rd).
