EMS units are in the process of repositioning to each fire department. Report to your nearest fire station for assistance.

Due to a statewide phone outage, the Greene County Sheriff's Office is unable to receive 911 calls from cell phones and at times landline phones.
Please use the 434-566-2216 number to call for EMERGENCIES.
Additional phone numbers will be provided as soon as possible.
Please be advised our office phone lines are also down at this time.
If you do not have an emergency please be patient. We will advise when phone lines are operational. LUMEN as well as Virginia Dept of Emergency Management are working diligently on this matter.
