Announcing the *NEW* Let's Talk Albemarle Podcast

Albemarle County issued the following announcement on Sept. 3

We are excited to announce the launch of our new interview-style podcast that will focus on local government and community topics, with the goal of inviting more community members into important projects, policies, and events.

This podcast is designed to be an entry point to supporting community participation and an opportunity to explore important topics the County is working on.

The first episodes are a 2-part series called Let's Talk About the Rio Corridor Plan and feature an in-depth conversation with Lead Engineer Daniel Hyer. Upcoming episodes will include topics like Environmental Stewardship In Your Own Backyard, Past, Present, and Future of the Yancey School Community Center, and Pickleball - An Adventure in Community Building. Episodes will be released every two weeks and will be about 20-25 minutes in length.

We invite community members to share constructive feedback, submit topic ideas, and ask questions. Call or email Serena at 434-296-5841 x3274 or sgruia@albemarle.org
