Greene County issued the following announcement on Oct.

We will hold the November 9, 2021 Board of Supervisors meeting in-person in the County Administration Building Meeting Room and virtually using Zoom.

Your comments for matters from the public and for public hearings are welcome by email at comments@gcva.us.  All emails received will be shared with the Board and kept in the permanent file.

c. Public Hearing to consider the adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 66, Taxation, of the Code of Greene County to include a cigarette tax and to impose a tax of $0.40 per pack on cigarettes sold in Greene County effective January 1, 2022 – Mark B. Taylor, County Administrator
