Greene County issued the following announcement on Nov. 18
The County of Greene is accepting proposals for Snow Removal.
Proposals are to be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: SNOW REMOVAL. No e-mailed or faxed proposals will be accepted. Proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m. on December 10, 2021.
Copies of the request for proposals may be obtained at the Greene County Administration Building, 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville, VA 22973. The complete RFP can also be viewed/downloaded at www.greenecountyva.gov
The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities in a proposal, or to accept the proposal(s) which in the judgment of proper officials, is in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to accept a part or parts of a proposal unless otherwise restricted in the RFP or issue subsequent Requests for Proposal. The County reserves the right to approve or reject any sub-Contractors proposed for work under this proposal or waive any minor irregularities. EEO.
