County of Rockingham issued the following announcement on Dec. 30
Pearson’s Appraisal Services, Inc. has completed the 2022 General Reassessment for Rockingham County. A Notice of Real Estate Assessment Change was mailed to all property owners on Tuesday, December 28th. Property owners may access all proposed assessed values from reassessment land books located at the County Administration Building located at 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, VA. Questions can be referred to Pearson’s staff at (540) 564-5079 or pearsonofficemanager@gmail.com.
A review of assessments will be held at the County Administration Building, Entrance B beginning January 6th, 2022. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (540) 564-5079 between 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM each day beginning December 28th, 2021. The deadline to call to schedule a hearing is January 17, 2022.
