Notice of intention to abandon a portion of the public thoroughfare and public hearing
Pursuant to Section §33.2-909 of the Code of Virginia, notice is hereby given that the Greene County Board of Supervisors has received a petition to abandon a portion of the public thoroughfare, identified as Jennings Loop State Route 645. The right of way extends along the boundaries of TMP 60C-A-25, 26, 27, 28, & 29 and extends approximately 206.92 feet south from the intersection of State Route 33 East.
A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 6:30 pm in the Board Meeting Room, located in the County Administration Building, 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville, VA to receive public comment on such abandonment. Information on the proposed abandonment of the public right of way, including a plat depicting the abandonment, can be reviewed at the County Administration building, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
