Discover the answer to this unexpected connection and more in newly released documentary Clay 1613, which traces the many descendants — Black and white, known and unknown, rich and poor — of planter John Clay, who arrived in Jamestown, Virginia circa 1612–13. Filmmaker Leontyne Clay Peck joins us to share her 18-year journey in finding and documenting her Clay family ancestry.
