How many people were old enough to vote in Charlottesville City during 2021?

Of the 46,597 citizens living in Charlottesville City in 2021, 84.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 39,283 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 18,857 were male, constituting 48%, and 20,426 were female, making up 52%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Charlottesville City during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
