There were 1,039 white students enrolled in Nelson County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 1.4% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Nelson County Public Schools District welcomed 1,495 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 69.5% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

Nelson County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Nelson County and has a main office in Lovingston.
