Culpeper Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 9
High school seniors attending any public, private, or home-school located within the Credit Union’s membership area are encouraged to apply for one of twenty-five (25) $1,500 scholarships from UVA Community Credit Union prior to the March 16, 2022 submission deadline.
“Throughout the years the Credit Union’s scholarship program has helped hundreds of students pursue their dreams of higher education while reducing their college debt. We consider these scholarships an investment in the future of these young people and in their communities,” said Jeffery C. Moscicki, Chairman of the Board/UVA Community Credit Union.
Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who live within the Credit Union’s membership area which includes the following counties: Albemarle, Amherst, Augusta, Bath, Bedford, Buckingham, Campbell, Culpeper, Cumberland, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Greene, Highland, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, Rappahannock, Rockbridge, and Rockingham; and the cities of: Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro.
Local high school seniors are encouraged to submit their applications online at uvacreditunion.org/scholarship. All applications must be received by March 16, 2022.
