Warming Stations to Open on an As Needed Basis

Due to the forecast for single digit temperatures predicted overnight for Friday, December 23rd and Saturday, December 24th, community warming stations will be made available if needed at the Lovingston Volunteer Fire Department building in Lovingston and the Faber Rescue Squad building in Faber from 7:00 pm – 7:00 am each night. Citizens should call the non-emergency line of the Nelson County Dispatch Center at 434-263-7050 if in need of this service.  Please bring your own food; only heated space will be provided.
