There were 118 Black students enrolled in Madison County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 2.5% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Madison County Public Schools District welcomed 1,671 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 7.1% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Madison County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Madison County and has a main office in Madison.

Among the four schools in Madison County Public Schools District, Madison County High School recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year.
