How many students were enrolled in Fluvanna County Public Schools District in 2023-24 school year?

The only school district in Fluvanna County suffered declining enrollment in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

There were 3,372 students in Fluvanna County Public Schools District, 1.9% less than the year before.

Enrollment in Fluvanna County was steady with the state's trend of decreasing enrollment.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 51.3% of them were male, and 48.7% were female.

Data also showed that most of the studets were white, representing 65.5% of Fluvanna County Public Schools District's total enrollment.

Fluvanna County Public Schools District has a main office in Palmyra and is the only school district within Fluvanna County.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
