Fluvanna County Schools: Fluvanna County High School welcomed most students in 2023-24 school year

Fluvanna County High School had the highest enrollment among Fluvanna County schools, welcoming 1,431 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 50.7% of them were male, and 49.3% were female.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 66.7% of Fluvanna County High School's total enrollment.

Among the four schools in Fluvanna County, Central Elementary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 744 students, while Fluvanna Middle School welcomed 737 students to be ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

Fluvanna County High School is part of Fluvanna County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Fluvanna County, with its main office in Palmyra.

In the previous school year, Fluvanna County High School also had the highest number of students among Fluvanna County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
