There were 1,785 white students enrolled in Charlottesville County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 0.6% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Charlottesville County Public Schools District welcomed 4,444 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 40.2% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

Charlottesville County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Charlottesville City and has a main office in Charlottesville.

Among the nine schools in Charlottesville County Public Schools District, Charlottesville High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
