There were 17 American Indian students enrolled in Albemarle County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 41.7% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Albemarle County Public Schools District welcomed 13,835 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the school.
